Privacy Policy

CSSignal Platform LLC ("we", "us", "our") provides a customer success intelligence platform. This policy explains, in plain terms, how we handle information when you use our website and platform.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a demo, or create an account, we collect the details you provide - such as your name, work email, company, and any information you choose to share in a message or form.

Customer-success data you put into the platform. When you use the platform, we process the data you upload, enter, or connect - for example, account records, contacts, notes, and renewal or health information - so we can provide the service to you. You control this data; we process it on your behalf.

Information collected automatically. When you submit a form on our website, we receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which we use to operate the forms and to prevent abuse. Our infrastructure providers may also process standard technical logs as part of hosting and securing the service.

How we use information

We use the information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the platform;
• respond to your requests and provide support;
• communicate with you about your account, including service and security notices;
• keep the service secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

AI features (Signal AI)

Our AI features, branded Signal AI, analyze your customer-success data to generate insights, risk assessments, and recommendations. To provide them, relevant account data - which may include account names, revenue figures, and the names of your team members - is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI models, solely to generate the insights you request. Anthropic processes this data to return results to you and does not use it to train its models.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Service providers who host, support, and add features to our platform (see "Service providers we use" below), under agreements that require them to protect it;
• Legal reasons - if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or CSSignal.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Where it lives

CSSignal runs on established cloud infrastructure providers, including Netlify and Supabase, which maintain their own industry-standard security and compliance certifications. Your platform data is stored within that infrastructure.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to run the service, each under agreements that require them to protect your data:

• Supabase - database, authentication, and storage, where your platform data is held;
• Netlify - website and application hosting;
• Resend - sending confirmation and notification emails;
• Anthropic - the Claude AI models behind our Signal AI features, as described above;
• Lemon Squeezy - payment processing, as our Merchant of Record. They handle card details; we do not store them.

Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information - including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and authentication protections such as multi-factor authentication on the platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it to operate the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing privacy@cssignals.com. If you have an account, you can also update or remove much of your data directly within the platform. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us and we will do our best to honor applicable requests.

International users

CSSignal is operated from the United States and serves users across the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in the regions where our infrastructure providers operate.

Children

CSSignal is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product and our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
